FAQ'S
Should I pick out my appliances first? Probably not due to size limitations and budgetary considerations. Usually it's better to discuss how you cook, your needs and let us help with suggested sizes and fuels; then go look.
My bath is small, I don't need a design. A design is a plan and a list of both labor and materials to be used. It's also a visual aid to determine if you like how your room will look and function. This is time well spent and it will be your only way of knowing if you are actually within your budget.
How do you know how long a project will take? This will depend on the infrastructure of your home, what has to be done. The materials choosen; both to install and to recieve. We factor all of this together and develop a time line.
Is there a cost to meet with you at our home? No we don't charge to meet with you in your home to discuss your project.
Where do you work? Usually in the Seattle / Bellevue, Puget Sound area. We have done design work for projects out of state and some vaction homes. Just ask.
Green
Most of the products we work with are green or meet LEED requirements. Sometimes a manufacturer will have certain choices that meet these through recycled materials or low /no VOC's. We can also help with Energy Star rated applainces, tankless water heaters, solar and geo thermal heating systems. Every project is unique.
